The Land Use Committee of MENA develops strategies and sponsors programs to improve the East Sacramento neighborhood.  One of the key duties is to be an advocate for the neighborhood before the City of Sacramento and its Planning Commission regarding land use and transportation policy issues and encourage development projects that will benefit the neighborhood now and in the future.  Our committee reaches out to the neighborhood on issues that affect the residents.  The last project we worked on was the McKinley Village Project which has been put on hold.  We will post our views on this project because our views will probably not change that much if there is a new project proposed for the old "Centrage" site.
