Uncollected garden refuse in the bike lanes (primarily Folsom Blvd, J St, H St and McKinley) can create hazards for bicyclists, causing them to ride into traffic.
Please attempt to place your material in longer and narrower piles. This will assist cyclists and keep our gutters leaf free.
Please follow these guidelines for Non-Residential Garden Refuse Collection:
Place garden refuse material at curb by 6:00 AM.
Place garden refuse material or container at least six feet from cars, utility poles, mailboxes, boats, trash and recycling containers, and other obstructions.
For loose-in-the-street collection, please do not place more than two cubic yards of material on the street for collection each week (the pile must be smaller than 3'x3'x6')
