President's Message- April 2012
The McKinley East Sacramento Neighborhood Association has served our community since 1992 and has performed many beneficial community services. These have included the operation of our popular crime reporting and notification site East Sac Watch, monitoring land use and planning decisions, serving as an association sponsor of the McKinley Park Pops in the Park picnic and concert, participating as a sponsor and fundraiser for the Save the Clunie effort, maintaining the Welcome to East Sacramento sign in the park and much more.
Our organization depends on new members, volunteers to assist in association events and an active and professional Board of Directors. We urge all members of our community to consider joining MENA by going to www.eastsac.org, signing up for EastSacWatch by going to eastsacwatch.com and to thoughtfully determine if you could help our community by volunteering at events or on our Board of Directors.
We recognize that community involvement is hard work and dedication but we also know that many of the activities noted above would not happen at all without resident and business owner participation. If you are interested in getting more involved please contact me by mail or e-mail through our web site www.eastsac.org.
Deane Dana III, MENA President
